Let them eat cake!! (Nick & Lilly's Wedding)

So finally, after a crazy few months Nick & Lilly got married and everything turned out wonderful.

Especially the cake.

And they had the cutest flower girl.

Sorry this is so short, we are all suffering from Wedding Hangovers and I am hurting from a strained ankle. :) Good times!!

Disneyland

So with all the family in town they decided to put together a trip to Disneyland. Andrews brother, Danny, works there, and joined us for the morning with his two girls. So for the first part of the day we were a group of twenty making our way through he crowds. Yea, as fun as it sounds.

Despite the logistical nightmares of navigating our huge group through the magic kingdom, things went surprisingly smooth. We did split up into smaller groups for a bit in the middle of the day, but had a great time together.

Some of the highlights included catching quite a few characters for pics, front row seats to the playhouse disney show (thanks to Danny's wife Bridget who works that show), sierra's first time going on a big kid ride, Splash Mountain, there is one Picture of her just before the drop and one right after, having all the cousins pulled out into the Disney parade, the wonderfully air conditioned Enchanted Tiki Room, fireworks, and of course having all of the cousins together. Sierra's best memories are when she gets to be with family. She never forgets to pray for her family, and especially giving thanks for her cousins, saying "I really love them alot".

Enjoy a few pics. We would have had more, but Jake's phone decided once again to randomly delete everything on the memory card, then shut itself off towards the end of the day.

So whats Sierra been up to?

We often spend the weekend relaxing at Uncle Nathan and Auntie Kathrine's place in Port Hueneme. With the harbor out the back door, kayaks in the yard, the beach around the corner, and a free paintball course on Point Mugu Base there is always a reason to go. Not mention Jake's Beloved B.B.Q. has taken up permanent residence there too.

When the tide is low Sierra gets Uncle Nathan to take her crab hunting in the rocks.

Other than going out on the kayaks, sierra's favorite thing is the beach. This time there were a bunch of lady bugs all along the beach. So they decided to build a lady bug castle

This beach is nice because the water comes up pretty easy, and she's not getting knocked around in the waves

Mom and Sierra went to the L.A. Zoo one Saturday to catch Dorothy the dinosaur and Waggs the dogg from the wiggles.

There was lots of singing and dancing.

Sierra had fun joining in the fun.

Tree climbing is not one of her strengths even though she loves to do it.
Dad has to stand under her just in case.

Now that summer is officially here we head over to grandma Jeans in woodland hills to go swimming. We have already gone a few times so far.

She loves it as long as she has her floaty suit on. That's right still not swimming on her own, but gets around fine in the suit. I attribute it the fact that she has to tread extra hard since she displaces almost no water. =) Silly peanut!


Sierra and mom had another fun outing going to the Staples Center for the season opener game of the L.A. Sparks. They had a fun time and got to see Snoop Dogg perform at half time.

Mom said that Sierra was yelling "DEFENCE" when ever the other team had the ball. She now calls the Lakers dad's team and the Sparks her team.

Now, David, a nice quiet guy from the singles ward, lives next door, and some how got dragged into the mayhem, then went home a grumpy mess.

Sierra on the other hand LOVED it!
Now she is always asking if she can have another one.

Now Sierra saw these pics of uncle Daniel from last year when he Sierra and dad went to see Hulk, and insisted that I post them.
She thinks he is so funny and is always worried about him because he is in the army.
But he is safe teaching up north on base.
